When you found people who are felling down, unconscious.

  1. Put the body upside , lift his chin up for maintenance of airways. (Airway Management)
  2. Check if he is breathing or not. Check the beat of his pulse.
  3. If you can't hear him breathing or his pulse beating, practice artificial respiration, make sure , if the lung expands twice .
    *if it's a child, make a hole on a paper cup and blow your breath from that. (to avoid the lung burst by blowing breathing directly.)
  4. Lift his chin up for maintenance of airways.
  5. Do a heart massage after practicing artificial respiration.

Use the root of your wrist to put pressure between his both papillary, hundred times per a minute for 30times.
*Use AED if it's equipped.

Warnings for using AED

if the patient is wet, dry him with a towel. Otherwise, electricity may discharge. Leave the pads on even if the cardiopulmonary resuscitation succeed.(Cardiopulmonary arrest may occur again.)

The heart will be evaluated till you put off the pads. The announcement will come out when needed.

Check if there's a fracture.

  1. The part is swollen
  2. The part is abnormally shaped.
  3. Not able to move the part by himself or feel pain when moving the part.
  4. The part is discolored.

How to handle the fracture.

  1. prepare : a towel, a splint (a hard stick, or something platelike), something to tie up.
  2. purpose: Stable the part and reduce the burden of the part that is broken.
  3. how to: Tie up the splint which is wrapped with the towel to the part which is broken.

What to do when you got sandwiched between something.

Don't help them getting out, but call the ambulance when the part of him is sandwiched for a long time. It will cause Crash Syndrome and cause death.

But, if he has been sandwiched just for a while, don't hesitate and help him.
