Tsutenkaku
- Published 2010.9.9
Tsutenkaku is the symbol of Osaka and is 103 meters tall. It was the highest building in Asia at the time it was constructed. You can give a sweeping view over the whole city of Osaka from the observatory on the top floor. The god of recovery from illness, Biriken-san, is enshrined on the observatory. The external design is said to have been based on the Eiffel Tower and the Arc of Triomphe. That is very like Osaka.
