The world’s top radish producer is Japan. It is mainly used in Japanese one-pot cooking and Oden (dish consisting of a variety of ingredients heated in a shoyu-based soup), or can be grated and served with grilled fish. It could also be used as a garnish with Sashimi (raw fish). The radish leaf is called Suzushiro, one of the seven spring plants, and is also consumed.
